- Anyone able to use a 14.4 Sporter PCMICA modem with PcAnywhere. The
- computer that tries to call into the host is a Gateway Colorbook with
- a PCMCIA Sporter PCMCIA modem. The host is a desktop 486/33 using a
- PnP 28.8k internal Supra.
-
- PcAnywhere does have a driver for a US Robotics Sporter 14.4, but are
- the drivers different for PCMCIA modems and your normal bunch of
- internal and external modems?
-
- When we use this modem, it seems to work, but the connection drops as
- soon as it's connected and starts transferring data.
-
- Any help would be greate
